It was a nice cool day, walking back to my car at the Montlake parking lot...almost 15 minutes away. As I approach the HUB, I see the usual political tents with all the white people telling everyone to vote for Kerry or Bush. Usually I pass through each day unbothered... unfortunately today wasn't one of those days. Eh, so what the heck I thought, might as well humor the guy.

[b]Me:[/b] (wtf...where's he going with this...) Uh Yeah.
[b]Flyer-pusher:[/b] Well George W. Bush doesn't.
[b]Me:[/b] ......... ......... Why's that?
[b]Flyer-pusher:[/b] Because he doesn't.
[b]Me:[/b] And the reason? (as I look at the flyer saying Bush doesn't support flu shots & it will kill more people than 9/11)
[b]Flyer-pusher:[/b] *silence as if dumbfounded*
[b]Me:[/b] So basically you're telling me to vote for Kerry... because he cares.... yet your reason is ....

I feel completely unwavered and that I wasted at least a good 5 minutes of my life. The guy handing out flyers didn't even know what the hell he was handing out. It's nice to know they have complete dumbasses with no opinion about the actual election other than "Bush doesn't care" helping to get people to vote.
